Week 202: MASCULINE

In honor of all those men & boys in our lives (& the upcoming holiday), we thought we'd focus on all things masculine!  It's always good to find inspiration for masculine cards, so this week's gallery should be a treasure box of clean & simple design ideas for everyone!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

7 Kids College Fund is returning as our wonderful sponsor & this week's winner will receive a $20 gift certificate to the online store!

Let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Adding dimension to your card & leaving a lot of white (open) space will give your card special interest.

Ardyth

Offsetting your focal image allows a bigger area of white space.

Deidre

Grounding your image over your sentiment keeps a card CAS.

Hannelie

A white on white background pattern keeps things CAS.

Joyce
Design defined:
Fussy cut and pop up your sentiment to make it stand out.

Judy

Placing one main image on the bottom of the card still allows lots of white space.

Kymona

Using pattern paper and a die cut, creates a super simple CAS card!

Melissa
 design defined:
A black & white color scheme works well on a CAS design.

Sherrie
design defined:
Stamping a pattern on a diagonal adds interest and preserves white space.

Tracey
